The final series of the Triple Crown Downhill Bike Competition and the Higher Ground Mountain Board Competition will be held this weekend. According to Beech Mountain officials, the Triple Crown series will wrap up with a downhill bike race that runs the entire elevation of Beech Mountain.
Amateur and professional categories will be offered. Race entry fees are $55 for all classes and helmets are mandatory. These races will be held on Saturday and Sunday.
In the High Ground event, bikers will be able to participate in a mountain board competition on Beech Mountain Ski Resort’s new all wood board park. Registration for this competition is also $55 per rider.
