Families planning ahead for winter 2009-10 and taking industry advice too book early due to limited availability during the season may be interested in an, ‘Easter Bonus – Kids For Free’ offer from Saalbach Hinterglemm in Austria.
The deal, which runs from 13th March 2010 means that children born in 1994 or later (Eg aged around 15 or younger) receive a free lift ticket when their parents buy a ticket for the same period, of at least three days or more.
Saalbach Hinterglemm is one of the largest ski circuits in Austria with 200km (125 miles) of runs served by 55 fast modern lifts and with 90% of the terrain covered by the resort’s arsenal of 450 snowmaking guns.
The resort has invested over 155 Million Euros on piste improvements, new lifts, snowmaking and slope grooming equipment since 2000. It has a special effort on grooming quality with 60 piste bashing tractor operating nightly and a dedicated staff of 88 working on slope maintenance alone.
