One of the most popular is a newly launched app from The Ski Club of Great Britain, sponsored by Land Rover, which differentiates itself from much of the competition by its cool, clear interface and ease of use. Better still it’s one of the few that can be downloaded free from the app store – look for ‘skiclubsnowreports’
The app features live snow report data from 250 resorts including snow depths, on and off piste conditions as well as webcams and the latest ski and snowboarding news.
”We’ve had excellent feedback about how quick and easy the app is to use, which is exactly what we wanted.” said the Ski Club’s New Media Manager Abi Lee, “The snow information provided on the app is the most accurate and up to date around and will be ideal for skiers and boarders who want to check conditions when they are on the move and even when they are in resort.”
