Fresh snow has been reported at all of our featured and open Austrian resorts this week. Stubai reported 60cm of new snow on Thursday 17th May providing spring powder riding opportunities.

Austria is the place to go for skiing in Europe at the moment. All our featured glacier resorts are open with good snow depths and lovely weather. Hintertux had 62km of runs open on Thursday.

There’s still plenty of skiing available in Austria. All our featured glacial areas were open on Thursday 3rd May. The Dachstein Glacier has a whopping 550cm of snow on it which should set it up for a great summer ahead.

After an uncertain start, European resorts have enjoyed a fantastic ski season this year helped by a surge of end of season fresh snowfall. In some open resorts, lift operations have been reduced reflecting the time of the year.

Many European resorts are finishing their winter seasons on a high after much recent fresh snowfall. Skiers and boarders were having a fantastic time tearing up fresh powder across the continent on Monday 23rd April after notable snow fell in many locations once again on Sunday 22nd April.

Even though we are in the latter half of April, the wintery conditions of fresh snow and cold temperatures have remained over Europe this week and this weather shows little sign of slowing down. This has created wonderful powdery mountains where skiers and snowboarders have been enjoying the fresh powder.
