Snow report Australian ski resorts end season

European glacier skiing is very good at the moment. A sunny weekend was enjoyed by skiers in Austria and Switzerland following the storm last week. Several resorts in Australia ended their season over the weekend. Mount Buller, Mount Hotham and Selwyn Snowfields closed their lifts for the season on Sunday 25th September.

It’s a different story in New Zealand. Fresh snow continues to fall at many resorts, keeping snow bases deeper than you’d expect this late in the season. The sun is strong when it does come out and can turn the snow quite soft lower down.

It’s been very mild in South America, where spring seems to have set in for good. The best snow can still be found in Chile but Argentina offers its fair share of fun skiing as well.
