Cloud covered many Austrian resorts on Monday 26th November, with the glacial resorts benefiting from low temperatures and the best piste conditions.
Val Thorens, in France, opened over the weekend with excellent piste conditions for skiers and boarders to enjoy. The Grande Motte glacier in Tignes, France is also open, with pistes being kept in good shape after a lack of recent snowfall.
In Italy, Livigno is now open for the winter season and the glaciers at Val Senales and Cervinia both providing good skiing.
St Moritz and Verbier, in Switzerland, both opened over the weekend.
Canadian resorts welcomed more fresh snow over the weekend, especially at Banff.
Jackson Hole, in the USA enjoyed over 25cm of powder snow on Sunday evening.
