Stable sunny weather, deep soft snow and comfortable temperature for ski-driving will give you a lot of pleasure and an unforgettable impression of Tajikistan.

The most convenient and accessible areas in Tajikistan for ski-driving are the southern spurs of the Gissar Range (Pamir-Alay). All areas offered for descent are in immediate proximity from the city, only at 50-70 km from the capital of Tajikistan – Dushanbe. The flight time up to any of the areas does not exceed 35 min. The altitude of the starting points offered are from 3 200 m till 4 100 m above sea level. The altitude difference is up to 1.6 km, length of descent is up to 10 km.

The snow condition allows to arry out the Heli-Skiing (heli-boarding) Programs within the period from the second half of January up to the middle of May. Usually, from the beginning of the ski season slopes collect about 2 – 4 m of snow. Snow is fresh, soft and fluffy everywhere. The most avalanche-hazardous months are March and April. The vernal snow is covered with thin ice, it is typical for the middle of March. In April and May the snow becomes compacted and forms the so called “ice crust”, when all slopes are rigid and look like a large smoothed ski-track. But this is for super extreme skiing only.
