Lindsey Vonn won the women’s World Cup
The win consolidates Vonn’s overall World Cup lead before she competes in the Winter Olympics, which begin in Vancouver on 12 February.
Germany’s Maria Riesch, who had closed the gap on Vonn with victory in Saturday’s downhill, could only manage 11th after hitting a gate.
Riesch now trails her friend and rival Vonn by 137 points in the overall World Cup standings.
Britain’s Chemmy Alcott, meanwhile, placed 19th in a time of 1:02.85.
Vonn will continue her bid for a third successive overall World Cup crown, when the circuit resumes after the Vancouver Games at Crans Montana in Switzerland on 5 March.
