Didier Cuche was quickest in opening training for Saturday’s World Cup downhill in Lake Louise.
The 35-
Austrian downhill champion Michael Walchoffer was next quickest, 0.62 seconds behind, with France’s
American superstar Bode Miller was sixth but World Cup overall champion Aksel Lund Svindal, of Norway and 2007 Lake Louise downhill champion by Jan Hudec were more than three seconds off the pace.
