Meribel adding new family friendly facilities next winter

Meribel, located in the centre of the world’s largest ski area, the French Three Valley’s region with 600km of lift-linkedski runs, has announced a number of new initiatives on its slopes for next winter that will particularly improve the ski experience for families.

Firstly the ‘Magnestick Bar’ system that improves lift use safety for kids and has been installed on several lifts at the neighbouring resort of Courchevel for several seasons will this year be extended to all the detachable chairlifts in the Meribel Valley and indeed the entire Three Valleys.

In addition The Moon Wild, a fun-filleddiscovery area for families, will be enlarged this coming winter grows with the arrivals of new animals.

Finally there’ll be a newfamily-friendlyeasy green piste accessible from the first section of the Saulire Express to the Blanchot.
