Nakiska ski area the 1st in Alberta Rockies to make snow
Mother Nature and Western Canada’s Largest Snowmaking system have turned Nakiska Ski Area white this week! “Nakiska, known as Calgary’s Closest Mountain, wants you to get ready to ski” says Matt Mosteller. Nakiska is getting bigger every season, this season 10 NEW Ski Runs have been added to the Monster Terrain and a NEW skier/boarder cross has also been installed.
Nakiska continues to be Calgary’s favourite mountain resort as more and more Calgarians experience the benefit of driving less and skiing more, “You can’t beat the convenience, Nakiska is less than 1 Hour from Calgary” Added Mosteller.
