Upper reaches in the Kashmir Valley experienced fresh snowfall while plains had rain resulting in cold and closure of mountain paths, forcing authorities to halt Amarnath Yatra at Jammu. A report from world famous ski resort of Gulmarg said Affarwat and other upper reaches experienced fresh snowfall last night. Gulmarg, Tangmarg and other adjacent areas had rains, resulting in cold, it said.
