Four ski resorts in Norway have launched the first 365 day lift pass to enable skiers to enjoy the snow all year around. The resorts – Voss, Myrkdalen, Røldal and Folgefonn, are based on the west coast of Norway and are in near proximity. Season pass holders can now use all four resorts on one lift pass.
This unique card offers the possibility of skiing 12 months a year as Folgefonn resort is positioned on a glacier and opens for summer skiing when the other locations close in May.

Getting on the ski hill may have gotten a little easier, even as the recession’s grip lingers. For the first time, the Telluride Ski and Golf will offer season adult season passes with financing available, according to a recent release from the ski area. And this year’s passes cost as much as last year’s.

In an unprecedented move, Sun Valley Resort has lowered the price of its season pass for the 2009–2010 winter, with significant savings going to skiers and snowboarders who purchase passes during July. The resort this week unveiled the new Sun Plus Pass, an unrestricted season pass with numerous other benefits, which, if purchased before July 31, will cost $1,499.
