Campaign launched by disabled skiers to keep Snowdonia ski slope open

Skiers have joined forces to save a North Wales slope they use from closing for good. The dry ski slope at Plas y Brenin in Capel Curig, near Betws-y-Coed, was the first in Britain to offer disabled people the chance to ski when it opened 40 years ago. But the Mountain Training Trust, which runs the outdoor activities centre, says it doesn’t have the funds to renew the slope.
