Following the recent snowy weather at the European summer ski areas Kaprun and Stubai in Austria have been able to reopen for snowsports. It is also possible to ski in Italy and Switzerland although all of our reported French summer skiing resorts are currently closed for snowsports.
The conditions in Australia and New Zealand have not significantly altered since last week with spring riding conditions reported at all of the open resorts. Mount Baw Baw and Ben Lomond in Australia and Mt Lyford in New Zealand are all now closed for the season.
Spring riding conditions are also reported in Chile and Argentina with firmly packed snow cover for the first runs of the day which then soften as the temperature rises.
Fresh snow is forecast in Chile and Argentina this week but it will not fall in any great quantity therefore the conditions will not change significantly.
