Changeable weather is forecast at our reported European summer skiing destinations this weekend that could deliver new snow to the glaciers.
The Italian skiing scene will expand this weekend, with Cervinia opening from 10th October until the end of the month for weekend skiing.
All of our reported Australian resorts are now closed for snowsports.
It is still possible to ski and board in New Zealand although this is the last week of the season at The Remarkables. Mount Hutt will stay open until October 18th and our two featured North Island resorts are also still open.
Valle Nevado is the only resort we report on in Chile that is still open. Due to recent cold weather and an excellent snow base the resort will remain open until 18th October.
This is the last weekend to enjoy skiing at our reported Argentinean resorts. Cerro Catedral is the only resort that is currently open and but they are scheduled to close for the season on Monday 12th October.
